This blessing is not promised, save to one special class of the persecuted–viz., those who are “persecuted for righteousness’ sake.” Only those have this promise who are persecuted for their faithful adherence to truth and to God. Men may be persecuted for their faults, or their mistakes, or simply because they fell into bad hands–yet the Lord speaks not this promise to such.

This means a lot to me , I have seen people cry persecution persecution in the name of christ to cover their own actions – completely unrelated to god.

The cry religious persecution for their OWN actions and faults.

Yet I wonder why the expect people to back off.

EVen to related their petty offenses to the persecution of christ.

when in reality they were being persecuted for being mean and a /or a theif.

*sighs*

It really IS offputting to a new christian. Everyone perfect but me , and i declare no perfection as a way to glorify christs perfection , for I am nothing. How can one who elevated their petty irresponsibility to the suffering of christ still smiled upon by the church ?

That is so very sad for me. I struggle to understand the TRUTH when peoples actions speak so much louder.

why do people claim god and bedeck themselves in his words just to work against his base concepts.

It makes me weep.They parade with the clothing of christ but do not even KNOW him.

At our house we were having a huge problem , the children had learned to open doors. No one wants a child wandering around the house @ 2 in the morning by themselves. I am sure. We could not install a lock because of an odd configuration so we are in process of creating on eout of wood , till then I have slowed them down a bit rubbing the door nob with vegetable oil.

The Gospel According to Lost By Chris Seay

Nearly everyone in the modern word has heard of LOST, and many have been captivated by the plot , and the characters and the novel situations of the hit TV show , now someone has found a way to relate quite probably the greatest Network TV show to The Greatest Book Ever composed. The Bible.

Chris Seay Really tries to relate the two trying to delve into the mysterious events in the show and come up with answers according to the bible.

I was really excited to get this book , I was interested in seeing it examine both the bible and the Lost series , and to see some of the beautiful things I thought I had seen , though mine only remotely touched on anything other than essential faith.

When I got this book, I was somewhat surprised at the level of blasphemous allegory that I saw in the comparative illustration. I will not lie , it would be offensive to believers and neutral non believers as well.

I gave the book a spin, and I must say I have had an easier time reading the smudged scribbling on the back of a receipt. This book was horrible, downright brought shame to mind. Your better off asking your 9 year old to make up stories to represent allegory. I really found it blasphemous and not exactly representative of the bible , nor of lost.

The writing seems forced , and twisted. I just did not enjoy it , it made fun of both LOST and The Bible. That , just is not funny.

I would not reccomend this Book to anyone.

I have decided to follow gods lead in my life , which means that I will be doing something a little more important than hanging around romanticizing the polishing of my cabinets , I kept looking for answers to my own question through others peoples experiences , when all along god was knocking at the door telling me he had other plans for me. I am a very capable person , and even after scrubbing toilets and baking bread and making my own clothes and tending my house and bending over backward for everyone in my life , I was still somewhat bored and unfulfilled. Turns out god had plans for me that I had not even thought of before. I kept trying to fulfill myself through this blog , this boring and somewhat trite little glimpse of me. The other night I sat back , and I prayed hard and I decided to clean out my blog , to stop staring at the numbers and stop yearning after the same changes god worked for others , and I accepted HIS will in MY life , to shape my path. The moment I did that he ploped a brand new and fulfilling project in my lap and he said love it , grow it bring it up like any other plant in your garden. So that is just what I will do. Maybe its just a phase , this trying to find purpose in scrubbing and baking , but I have found that it is inane , it is like trying to teach others how to breath. Part of growing in God is realizing when to let go of your old self , and maybe I failed in hearing HIS call for me.
Thank you all for your participation in my life , and in the reading of this blog , and I am not completely destroying this blog , and I may update it on occasion , with things I find instrumental , but till then my friends I will be mostly silent. I need more time to fufill HIS plan for me.
I love you , and I wish you blessing and enjoyment on your journey , to , with and through him.May the lord always find favor in your and may you be cherished gardens unto him.

My Home Journal System

First let me say it’s not just another binder system. It’s not going to cost you a cent to learn about it either. It’s just how I organize my life. It’s not ridged, it’s quite flexible, and to be honest it sometimes seems a little too easy for me.

It works, but not without the development of routines, consistency and a desire for success. I’m not going to charge you to learn how to do it, I’m not going to ask you to buy anything from me, and honestly I plan on GIVING you things for it.

NO CHARGE EVER.

Why would I do this, because I have seen other binder systems? I paid good hard earned money scraped from every corner of my house, and an hour trying to justify its purchase with my husband. Just to find out that it was a waste of my money.

I felt horribly cheated, and I felt guilty for having unknowingly been duped and having duped my husband as well.

It made me feel inside like a rotten tomato. I don’t want anyone to ever have to feel that way. There are a lot of websites out there with printable for binders, and there are lots of people who sell premade binder systems, and there are people who sell eBooks telling you how to make binders, and while you are free to do whatever you wish, I really do hope you find a FREE alternative.

While my home journal supplements may not always work for you, or be the prettiest, or be as detailed or clean lined as you might desire them to be, I want you to know that they are totally forever FREE.

My Home Journal System Helps me, and it is simple enough, and it is composed of 4 primary parts.

The Folders – Regular File Folders w/ Pockets and the three fold over tabs in the middle, I got mine @ Wal-Mart for a nickel a piece.

The pages – Pintable’s or filler paper.

The Box – You can buy or make your own box

The Hanging Board – A Hanging File Folder Board with 2 Slots

Here is How it Works, I have a Folder For Every major Part or my daily life.

- I have one with Calendars, Appointments, Goalkeeping, and Meal Plans & Daily Routines. I have This in a folder Marked TIME

- I have one Filled with Food Storage Needs, Inventory, Price books, and recipes. This one is marked FOOD.

- I have one Filled with Information about my children’s educational goals and his school schedules (My son attends both home school and a specialized preschool) – This Is Marked KIDS

- I have one filled with my husband’s schedules & contacts, a list of ways to encourage him and various lists of favorite things. This his marked HUSBAND ENCOURAGEMENT

- I have one filled with emergency procedures, contacts and relevant data for emergency situations. THIS is marked EMERGENCY

- I have one filled with Financial Forms to record where money goes and when bills are paid, the front pocket holds those items needing to be paid, the back pocket hold items that have been paid and need to be filed away. This is Marked FINANCES.

- I have a bunch of other folders filled with encouragement, monthly challenges (30 Day True Woman, Husband Encouragement, Clean Heart) that I keep stowed away in the Box and use as I feel it is needed)

Now I can only spend so much time every day writing the details of these folders, so I will over time add more detailed topics over the folders contents, always check back to my HOME JOURNAL section to learn more about these specifics. This post its self is to illustrate how my HOME JOURNAL system works.

Now we have covered the Folders, Now for the Box

There are millions of boxes in this world, different shapes and sizes, and you can find boxes, make boxes or buy boxes. But it must fit your folders. Me, I prefer a topless box, I made mine out of a Ziploc Box (Yes we Buy large boxes of boxes of Ziplocs at Sam’s Club). I am sure you may have a Diaper box or some other box lying around. I made my box pretty with some construction paper. I like things to have a clean simple look, you, well I am sure you can do whatever makes you feel good, I do although suggest decorating your box, a regular old nasty looking box can really deter you from wanting to use it, and that defeats the whole purpose of the HOME journal system.

So My Box holds folders. It can be tucked under a cabinet, on a cabinet, or in a closet when not in use. It holds my folders so I know where they are.

Now you see, I for some reason or another always seem to tuck away bits and pieces of my life in these folders, and so I accumulate lots of folders. (No DEVINE PERFECTION, but rather my own human imperfection brought about this system).

Then we have the Folder Board, My Husband made mine FOR me (I know he’s just nifty like that).

That wonderful man, I am sure you can either get one at a store, or if you are creative you could easily make one out of cardboard. It is important although that your folders fit IN the box. Otherwise you won’t use the box, which really does defeat the purpose of this system.

Now I know this seems awful complicated to begin with, and maybe it’s my droll way of presenting it, but it’s easy.

The top rack of the box is for unfinished business, and the bottom for finishes. (I know good old in and out boxes)

If the top box has a hard time fitting things in because it’s full I know it’s time to get my act together and do something.

Every night I load the box with the relevant folders for the next day, and one by one I finish the tasks in the folder and move on till nearly everything is done. Finances on the other hand tend to stick around in the bin till all the bills are paid.

That’s it, no huge binder to lug around, no shuffling pages, and no decorating and printing mayhem. Just tasks in a box that I have to do.

It seems so very simple to me. Believe me, I really tried to work on other people’s systems, and it just didn’t work. Like I said before, I wasn’t some genius that devised this system out of the thin air, it developed out of my own detailed analysis of my own imperfections.

It works, it’s flexible, and those folders really don’t put reassure on me either. My husband by the way likes it. Which is a new thing. He likes seeing what I have done thought the day, he likes glimpsing through my checklists, he loves that I have the finances all straightened. It takes pressure off of him, and I do tell you I keep finding things in my husband encouragement folder that I surely didn’t write down ` myself. (Who knew he wanted a waffel iron ?)

So there is how my Method works. The Gist of it for sure. I am sure I will fill up the Home Journal sections with samples of my folder pintables (I know there are lots out there, but non just fit me, so I made my own). So look around, if there are not many, just wait, I will get around to it. I am a busy and sometimes distracted person. I really hope that you can find a way to make your home journal system work for you. I would also love to hear how you ladies out there make it work.
